RédeWise is a free financial calculator service built around one principle: do useful maths in your browser without harvesting your personal data. No accounts, no email lists, no tracking pixels chasing you across the web.
What we collect
- Nothing that identifies you personally. We don’t ask for your name, email, postal address, or phone number. There is no account system, and there never will be.
- Calculator inputs stay on your device. Everything you type into a calculator is processed in your browser. We never see your salary, your debt balances, your donation amounts — none of it leaves your machine.
- Anonymised analytics (only if you accept). When you click Accept on the cookie banner, Google Analytics counts visits, page views, and rough country-level geography. Your IP address is anonymised before it reaches Google.
- Ads (only if you accept). When you accept cookies, Google AdSense may set its own cookies to deliver and measure relevant ads — this is how we keep the calculators free. See Google’s ads policy for the full details.
Cookies and consent
On your first visit you’ll see a banner asking whether to allow ads + analytics. Click Reject and no AdSense or Analytics script will load for the rest of your session — we store your choice locally in your browser (localStorage key rdw_consent) so we don’t pester you on every page. To be asked again, clear that value in your browser settings.
What we never do
- Sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. Ever.
- Send marketing email — we don’t even have a way to know your email.
- Use browser fingerprinting, session replay, or any consent-bypass tracking techniques.
- Transmit your calculator inputs anywhere. The numbers you type stay on your device.
Third parties
When consent is granted, the following third-party services may process pseudonymous data about your visit:
- Google Analytics (privacy policy)
- Google AdSense (ads policy)
Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)
Because we hold no personal data of yours, there is nothing for us to delete, export, or correct on your behalf. For any data held by Google through your accepted ads/analytics consent, you can manage or revoke it directly via Google’s My Ad Center — it’s the only place that data lives.
